We have employed Bluerose to carry out an extension and complete refurbishment of our house. Due to the excellent workmanship and service we had no hesitation in subsequently employing them for a complete refurbishment of our office premises. From our initial meeting with Bluerose, it was evident that they were endeavouring to provide a different kind of building service. As they run a maximum of two jobs concurrently, we had the confidence that they would not disappear to another job and this proved to be the case with the work being finished ahead of schedule. We were provided with a weekly report detailing the progress to date, along with a detailed plan for the following week, even down to highlighting if the forecast weather conditions might hamper progress. From our initial contact, the communication with Bluerose was excellent, any questions were always responded to in a timely fashion and we were often given advice above and beyond what was expected. All of the tradespeople on site were polite, friendly, and hardworking and were careful to clear up at the end of the day. They controlled costs and we were only charged extra amounts for additional work we agreed in advance. If agreed work was not carried out, we were given a credit for the quoted cost. Before embarking on our build, we had heard horror stories of what could go wrong. We can honestly say that employing Bluerose was the best decision we could have made for our build and we are confident to recommend them. Not many people finish a build and are sad to see their builders go!
We asked The Blue Rose Building Company to provide us with a quote for some significant structural remediation work to our property. The quote provided was extremely comprehensive, and provided a detailed breakdown of the individual work items. The work commenced on schedule and with a very high degree of both professionalism and customer service. Once work began there was some additional remediation work that needed to be carried out, but they contacted us first of all to explain what the additional work was, why it was needed, and the incremental cost. We were extremely pleased with the quality and thoroughness of all the work that was carried out, with the level of disruption to the rest of the house kept to a minimum. Three specific aspects that make this company stand out from the rest are: (1) The level, professionalism and thoroughness of communication with us as the client, including when work was to both commence and finish. (2) The quality of the work that was undertaken. (3) The fact that any disruption and mess to the rest of the house was kept to a minimum.
Steve and Ivan worked extremely hard to remove an old brick built store room and conservatory. Despite them finding a cellar underneath the store room they worked to find a cost effective solution for the foundations that would get around this, without it costing me any more money. Keeping in constant touch with the Building Control Officer meant that this all went totally smoothly. The site was kept clean and tidy every night. There were literally tonnes of rubble, which was always cleared on time. They always keep you totally informed of their progress and are good to have on site.
They were extremely professional. They gave me a breakdown of all the individual tasks of the job and the cost of each task. At the end of each week I got an update report compared to the task list. The cost was exactly what they said it would be. They were here when they said they would be and worked very hard throughout the day. I would definitely recommend them.
A professional job, done on time and with attention to detail. Steve and Ivan managed their team closely and were very hands on. We are very pleased with the finished product.
